His engineering experience/expertise covers the main following areas:
?? Dam safety (monitoring, inspections,...).
?? Hydropower plants control, surveillance and maintenance plans definition and management, in order to avoid failures and power plants' out of services (Forensic Engineering).
?? Project planning and budgeting.
?? Structural/seismic, hydraulic and geotechnical design, calculation and computational analysis.
?? Hydrological calculations/Estimation of hydropower plants production in compliance with repowering activities.
?? Design of hydraulic machinery/turbines.
?? R&D.
He has also competence in managing Stakeholders relationship, with problem solving, networking, negotiation and goal-setting skills.
Among other skills: technical ability based on the above cited experience, continuous updating and professionalism and passion in carrying out projects that fall within the areas of competence.
She holds a degree in Chemistry (Physical Chemistry) and an MSc in Welding Engineering, both from the University of Vigo (Spain). She began her career at AIMEN in 2007 in the NDT department, specializing in non-destructive testing of materials. With over 12 years of experience in composite materials, manufacturing, and testing. She also spent two months in 2014 at TPRC (ThermoPlastic Research Center), working on composite welding. She has been involved in European, national, and regional R&D projects focused on advanced manufacturing processes for composite and multi-materials in the automotive, naval, aeronautical, and wind sectors. Currently, she works at Advanced Composites Technologies as a Senior Researcher, specializing in infusion manufacturing processes for composite materials.

institutions. The association represents both small and medium-sized companies as well as major multinational concerns.
The AVK is integrated into a strong network of German and European partners. For example, it is one of four sponsoring associations of the GKV - the umbrella organisation of the German plastics converters industry and represented in both the executive and board.
In addition, AVK is a foundation member of the German Composites Umbrella organization “Composites Germany”. Furthermore AVK is represented on the board of the European Composites Industry Association (EuCIA).
